The chronograph from the MARTINI RACING® Collection was designed by Studio FA Porsche. Contemporary features win the race: from the RONDA analogue quartz movement and the Silver case made of finely brushed stainless steel, to the mineral glass with anti-reflection coating on one side. The chronograph has a date window (4 o'clock) and three totalisers with the functions: second counter (3 o'clock), chrono 30-minute counter (9 o'clock), chrono hour counter (6 o'clock). Visual highlights include the Silver stainless steel bracelet with brushed and polished links and the matching metal dial with polished MARTINI RACING® design and polished Silver, applied indices and 'Made in Germany' lettering at 6 o'clock. The polished, screwed crown is adorned with an engraved Porsche crest. The 'PORSCHE' logo on the butterfly clasp of the stainless steel bracelet is also elaborately engraved. Porsche Chronograph 1 – 50 Years 911 Turbo Edition

The legend of the 911 Turbo. The fascination of Porsche Design. For a long time, turbo engines could only be used in motorsport – until Porsche once again pushed the boundaries of what was possible: on 6 October 1974, the Porsche 911 Turbo was presented for the first time at the Paris Motor Show – making quite an impression with its technical excellence such as a top speed of 250 km/h and the unmistakable Turbo design.

Two years earlier, the success story of the Chronograph I began, which is based on the same principle of precision and performance. Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche later summed it up like this: 'My aim was to design a watch for the 911 driver.' A goal he achieved in a unique way with the Chronograph I. The symbiosis of form and function convinced the newly formed group of Turbo drivers and enthusiasts in particular, who could now express their belonging to this exclusive community off the road as well.

With the new and strictly limited Chronograph 1 – 50 Years 911 Turbo Edition, we are not only celebrating the anniversary of the unique 911 Turbo, but also 50 years of the 'sports cars on your wrist'. The unique connection of this timepiece to the 911 Turbo (G model) from 1974 is made unmistakably clear by various design elements. The movement is powered by a winding rotor in the design of the legendary Fuchsfelge® (Fuchs wheel), which was also used on the G model. A striking badge on the side of the strap features the iconic 'turbo' lettering, which also adorns the case back, framed by the most important dates in Turbo history: 1974 and 2024.

The dial reveals the prestigious origins of this chronograph, as the matt Black design with optimal readability corresponds to the original from 1972 except for the flyback lettering and the historic Porsche Design logo. The Porsche Design calibre WERK 01.240 ensures the highest precision and, thanks to the flyback function, makes it possible to measure consecutive times.

The Chronograph 1 – 50 Years of the 911 Turbo Edition is limited to 500 units and comes with two straps, a Black titanium strap and a Beige textile/leather strap.

Care Instructions:
Bracelet: Rinse the bracelet with water and allow to dry completely before wearing. Remove residues of creams, sunscreens, insect repellents, etc. with rubbing alcohol and a lint-free cloth. Housing: Rinse with water or use a dampened, lint-free cloth for cleaning. Dirt on the charging contact points or on the recesses on the unit can be removed with a soft toothbrush. IMPORTANT: Do not use a toothbrush to clean recesses or holes on the watch, especially on units with openings for speakers and microphones. Do not use sharp objects for cleaning. A disinfectant wipe may be used, but the watch should be rinsed with water afterwards. Do not clean the watch or straps with bleach or immerse them in detergent. Disinfectants must not enter the openings on the case of the watch. The use of ultrasonic cleaners is not recommended. In order not to affect the appearance and water resistance of the watch, do not expose it to insect repellents, moisturisers, oil, perfume, disinfectants, soap, solvents, detergents or sunscreens.
