In 2017, Porsche elevated the 95B.1 Macan turbo 3.6ltr to new heights by introducing the Performance Package, an enticing enhancement that truly sets this model apart. With this upgrade, the twin-turbocharged, 3.6-liter V6 engine now boasts an impressive output of 324 kW (440 hp), surpassing its predecessor by 30 kW (40 hp). This substantial increase firmly secures its position as the pinnacle of the Macan lineup.

Acceleration is markedly improved, with the car now sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, a notable reduction of 0.4 seconds. Additionally, the top speed climbs to 272 km/h, an increase of 6 km/h. Torque sees a significant boost as well, reaching 600 Nm, available across a broad rev range from 1,500 to 4,500 rpm. This enhances tractive force, evident in the acceleration from 80 km/h to 120 km/h in a swift 2.9 seconds in Sport Plus mode.

The Performance Package doesn't stop at engine enhancements. It includes a suite of performance-focused features as standard, including a newly developed brake system, a lowered body, a controlled sports chassis, the Sport Chrono Package, and a sports exhaust system. The front axle boasts larger grooved brake discs, now measuring 390 millimeters, gripped by six-piston brake calipers finished in striking red.

Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) ensures a sporty yet controlled ride, with the chassis lowered by 15 millimeters. Optional air suspension with self-leveling function and height adjustment, lowered by ten millimeters, offers further customization.

The Sport Chrono Package takes performance to the next level, fine-tuning the chassis, engine, and transmission for maximum effect. Paired with the seven-speed PDK double-clutch transmission, it delivers lightning-fast response times and optimized gear changes for exhilarating acceleration.
