Requires trimming of the plastic tray under the 718 and 718 GT4
Most Boxster and Cayman owners who take their cars to the track, have equipped their Porsches with tires much wider and stickier than stock, which allows higher g-forces to be achieved in cornering and braking. During that type of hard driving, the 2 piece rear sub frame flexes with the extreme loads being put on them. This negates your car's finely tuned alignment settings, thereby reducing your braking and cornering potential, and increasing tire wear. With this install, your Porsche will handle and brake with greater precision, predictability, and feedback to the driver. Comes with integrated rear tie down brackets and hardware for a 10 minute installation. Also available as a set including front tie downs, or as just the rear tie down set without the stabilizer bar.

One of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to improve your car's handling is the installation of a Rennline strut tower brace. These braces bridge both shock towers, eliminating virtually all camber change that occurs during hard cornering. Not all cars are the same, so Rennline has made their braces fully adjustable, allowing you to set a desired amount of pre-stress. Both the strut bar and brackets are constructed from aircraft grade aluminum, and include stainless steel hardware. Rennline strut tower braces bolt in and out in minutes and require no drilling. Whether you're on the street or on the track you'll feel the difference immediately. This strut brace does allow the use of your plastic cowl cover but small alteration would be required.
Please note some cars might require the ends of the brace cut by approx 10mm each side in order to fit the bar on towers. This might be depending on the location of your top mounts.

Porsche Motorsport Strut Braces | Design911 High-Performance Chassis Reinforcement
Strut braces are a vital upgrade for any Porsche involved in motorsport, spirited road driving, or performance tuning. They reinforce the vehicle’s suspension structure, maintaining precise chassis alignment under heavy cornering, braking, and acceleration. Whether fitted to a classic 911 or a modern Cayman GT4, these precision-engineered components enhance rigidity, stability, and steering response.
At Design911, we supply a premium range of strut braces and chassis reinforcement bars designed for strength, lightness, and exact fitment. Manufactured from high-grade aluminium, carbon fibre, and steel alloys, each brace offers exceptional torsional stiffness without unnecessary weight gain. Ideal for track-day setups, motorsport preparation, or performance restoration, our collection ensures your Porsche handles exactly as intended.
What Do Strut Braces Do?
Strut braces link the suspension towers together to reduce chassis flex, ensuring consistent handling characteristics even under high load.
Core Functions:
• Increase chassis stiffness and reduce body roll.
• Maintain precise suspension geometry during cornering.
• Improve steering accuracy and feedback.
• Reduce stress and movement in upper suspension mounts.
• Enhance overall driving stability and predictability.
By reinforcing the front or rear suspension structure, strut braces create a more connected, confident, and performance-focused driving experience — both on road and track.
Why Do Strut Braces Fail or Degrade?
Over time and through aggressive driving, strut braces can lose effectiveness due to fatigue, corrosion, or damage from improper installation or accidents.
Common Causes of Failure Include:
• Metal fatigue from repeated torsional loads.
• Corrosion or cracking in alloy or steel construction.
• Worn joints or mounting hardware causing flex or noise.
• Impact damage from track incidents or suspension movement.
• Substandard aftermarket materials lacking proper reinforcement.
When a strut brace fails or weakens, suspension alignment suffers — leading to reduced handling precision, unpredictable cornering, and compromised safety.
Why Replace or Upgrade Your Porsche Strut Brace?
Upgrading to a modern performance-spec strut brace ensures your Porsche maintains its optimal chassis integrity and handling balance.
Key Benefits:
• Restores and enhances chassis rigidity.
• Improves cornering stability and steering response.
• Prevents tower flex and suspension misalignment.
• Available in lightweight aluminium, carbon fibre, and reinforced steel.
• Precision-engineered for Porsche 911, Cayman, Boxster, and 718 models.
• Essential for motorsport, track-day, or high-performance road setups.
Design911’s Porsche strut brace range combines engineering accuracy, lightweight construction, and motorsport-proven performance — ensuring the best driving dynamics and long-term reliability.
