Porsche Crest Key Ring Charging Service, Black.
The key to energy: the high-quality, genuine leather Porsche crest key ring combines exclusive design and innovative technology. With an integrated RFID chip, it enables fast, contactless charging at the charging station for all Porsche electric and plug-in hybrid models. All that is additionally required is a valid charging contract with the Porsche Charging Service and the My Porsche app. The key ring can be easily activated here by the smartphone recognising it via NFC or by entering its serial number. Filling up with energy has never been so easy: to start the charging process, simply hold the crest in front of the charging station's reader. Alternatively, the charging process can always be started via the My Porsche app. Secure charging – secure data: customer information is not on the tag, only on My Porsche. To prevent unauthorised reading of the chip, the key ring should not be given to third parties.

What This Product Does / Benefits:

  • The RFID chip inside the key ring acts similarly to a contactless charging card. When you position the key ring crest in front of an RFID reader at a charging station, it triggers the charging session.
  • You still need a valid charging contract with Porsche Charging Service and to use the My Porsche app to register / activate the key ring.
  • The key ring can be activated either by your smartphone (the phone recognizes the tag and helps register it) or by entering the serial number into your Porsche Charging Service / My Porsche account.
  • Once activated, starting a charging session is as easy as holding the crest in front of the reader at the charger. Some chargers in the network support this “tap to charge” feature.
  • Alternatively, you can always start the charging process via the My Porsche app.
