Featuring a unique groove pattern protected by a utility model, the Black:Z offers an optimal alternative to the perforated Sport:Z disc.

Engineered to deliver the high braking performance demanded in racing, this disc also excels in everyday road use. Like all Zimmermann products, it is manufactured exclusively from premium-quality cast materials.

The result speaks for itself, with the VLN racing team praising its performance: “The disc is amazing!”

Approved for both road and track use, the Zimmermann Black:Z is a versatile, high-performance solution for discerning drivers.

Your advantages:

  • Faster brake response due to optimized water drainage
  • Better wet braking performance
  • Utility model protected groove pattern ensures optimal heat dissipation and thus improved braking performance
  • Brake fading is avoided
  • Cooler look Better appearance thanks to anti-corrosion coating Coat Z+
  • Better grip and faster brake response through constant sharpening of the pads
  • Replacement of the original disc 1:1 possible

Porsche 958 Cayenne turbo V8
For cars with 482mm/19" disc and RED calipers
*option code: I1LH

The Zimmermann Formula Z brake disc was designed with the aim of teaming simple installation with optimum braking effect under high mechanical and thermal load.
The compound brake disc developed by Zimmermann accommodates the increased demands incurred by engine tuning and optimised chassis structures.

Your advantages:
• Excellent deceleration action and no distortion of friction ring at high temperatures
• Substantial weight saving and therefore less unsprung mass
• Floating mounting enables radial expansion of the brake disc under relatively heavy loads, thus preventing shielding and increasing resistance to heat cracks
• "Hot spots" prevented by optimised design of ventilation channels
• 1:1 exchange of original disc possible
• Not subject to registration: general ABE certification supplied with disc
• No conversion required for brake tuning
