Tested to the highest levels on the track with decelerations from 270kph (168mph) the HP2 material is capable of operating in the most demanding conditions.

With excellent cold performance & bite, high resistance to fade, frictional stability throughout all operating conditions, reduced pad & disc wear and low dust levels, the all new HP2 friction material offers significant advantages over its rivals.

Designed to be a direct replacement for the Original Equipment (OE) pads the Brembo sport pad comes with the exact same specification as the OE pad including (where applicable): fitted wear leads, slots for separate wear leads and anti-rattle clips with the added benefit of anti-noise shims on every pad.

Combine all of this with competitive pricing and UNECE R90 approval across the full range (making them street legal) and you get a true high performance brake pad fit for the road.

Sold as set of 4 pads for one axle.

Titanium Brake Pad Heat Shields.

This Product Fits:
rear
Porsche 997 Turbo 06>> Rear
Porsche 997 GT3 06>> Rear
Porsche 997 GT3 RS 06>> Rear

The problem of brake fluid boiling is simply traced to heat transferring from the rotors and pads directly into the fluid through the caliper pistons. When brake fluid boils, it releases air that is normally part of the molecular structure of the fluid. This air is compressible of course, and the brake pedal goes to the floor instead of moving the caliper pistons. Production cars tend to suffer from this on track days more as they don't usually have the extensive cooling duct and exotic brake materials as true racing cars. True racing only brake calipers generally come with titanium caliper pistons for one reason. Titanium as a material has low thermal conductivity. This means that it is very bad at transferring heat, which is fantastic if you are trying to keep your fluid cool.

The Girodisc solution to help prevent fluid boiling is to use a thin titanium shim placed between the pad back and the pistons, to keep the braking heat from transferring into the pistons and fluid. Here is a comparison of materials and their relative thermal conductivity ratings:

Titanium 6AL-4V 6.7 W/mk
Steel 52 W/mk
Aluminum 130 W/mk

You can see that Titanium will transfer far less heat than steel and especially aluminum. For cars that are going to see hard or multiple track days, these shims are cheap protection from losing the pedal due to boiling at the wrong time and making the day very expensive.

Water jet cut to exact size, no cutting, grinding, or swearing involved.

Price is per axle (four pieces)

About Brembo Sport Brake Pads

Unlock sharper braking and track-ready precision with Brembo Sport Brake Pads from Design911. Designed for performance-minded Porsche drivers, these pads deliver enhanced friction, superior temperature stability, and fade-free stopping power, ensuring you stay in control whether on the road or the circuit.

What They Are & What They Do
Brembo Sport pads are high-performance friction components that provide stronger initial bite and consistent braking response across a wide temperature range. Engineered with advanced metallic and ceramic compounds, they ensure shorter stopping distances, improved modulation, and reduced fade during repeated high-energy braking.

Why They Fail
Over time, brake pads wear naturally due to friction. Performance pads can deteriorate faster under track conditions or aggressive driving, leading to glazing, cracking, or uneven wear. Excessive heat or contamination from dust and moisture can also reduce friction efficiency and cause squeal or vibration.

Why They Should Be Replaced
Replacing worn Brembo Sport pads is essential to maintain braking precision, safety, and vehicle balance. Fresh pads restore optimal contact with the discs, ensuring predictable pedal feel and maximum stopping power. Upgrading to new Brembo Sport pads also improves heat tolerance and fade resistance, especially for Porsches driven in demanding environments.

Whether you drive a 911, Cayman, Boxster, Taycan, or Macan, Design911 offers authentic Brembo Sport brake pads engineered for Porsche’s exact specifications - combining motorsport technology with everyday drivability.
