Exhaust bolt repair kit for Porsche DFI Engines on 911/997/991/ Boxster & Cayman (9A1) 2009-Onwards



Holy broken bolts Batman! Even the latest generation of DFI (9A1) heads on the water-cooled engines are reporting broken exhaust bolts. Tasks ranging from a simple exhaust system update through an engine removal, are consistently plagued by snapped, rusted, and broken exhaust manifold bolts. Rarely can an accurate removal of the broken bolt be performed with the engine in the car, and even after removal, the task is time consuming and if not done carefully can lead to a damaged head or faulty repair. STOMSKI RACING's answer to these problems is the SR069, a kit that easily, accurately, and flexibly allows you to drill out the broken bolts - with the engine still in the car- saving time and headaches. A CNC milled plate indexes precisely off the broken bolts and/or bolt holes. Using our uniquely designed Thumb Screws, the SR069 plate is locked in place (by threading a Thumb Screw over a broken bolt or by using a supplied bolt threaded through the SR069 Thumb Screw). With the included pilot drills and drill guides, the faulty bolt can be drilled out, producing a perfectly perpendicular and centered hole that if necessary can be chased with an included M8x1.25 tap.

Kit includes anodized aluminum fixture, drill bits, tap with extension, drill jigs/guides, Thumb Screws, and hardware in a sturdy storage case. Also includes our SR065D drill guide.

If you want to lift your vehicle at the usual jack points, you will not get around an adapter. Only then can the vehicle safely and stably raised without risk of slipping and the underbody protection / paint are protected. Tolerance between the pressure relief plug and its galley are very close, and the slightest bit of gunk, corrosion, or bur will cause the plug to freeze up in the oil passage. A magnet is rarely powerful enough to overcome the seized plug, and leaving it in place is never an option.
Using STOMSKI RACING's Oil Pressure Relief Plug Extractor makes the task of removing the stuck plug a breeze, and allows you to ensure clean oil passages, and a properly operating bypass system.

The collet-based tool slides easily into the open end of the seized plug and a simple turn or two of the internal socket head cap screw expands the tool, grasping the plug to ensure easy removal.

For exhaust port studs on 911, Boxster, 996/997 or GT3 heads where the threads have been pulled, or to recover from an already improper repair, we have developed this Time-Sert(tm) kit so you may use our SR065, SR067, SR068 or SR069 tools to insert a Time-Sert and save an otherwise ruined head. In addition to the standard Time-Sert(tm) parts (short P drill, counter-bore, tap, insert tool, and 5 short inserts), our kit also includes a full length P drill, two drill jigs/bushings to guide the P drill and tap in our SR065, SR067, or SR068 fixtures, 5 full length inserts, and 5 studs.

Vario cam sprocket tool for Porsche 996 / 997 GT3/TT/GT2



STOMSKI RACING's version of this tool works on Vario intake cams on the GT2, TT, and GT3 engines. This tool replaces the factory tool P9653. Additional refinements to this tool ensure that while torquing the 16mm hex cam sprocket bolts, your tool is securely bushed and supported in the center of the tool, and thus will not slip off or round off the bolts.
