The QS system is constructed using our finest 304 Stainless Steel for maximum durability and is finished by machine polishing to compliment this already beautiful vehicle.
The design has also been meticulously developed to benefit and improve the performance, weight, look and sound to enhance the original exhaust.
While adhering to emission regulations QS have designed this echaust to allow the driver to unleash the full potential of pitch and volume realtive to throttle position. Also enabling a respectively civilised grumble when needed in built up residential areas.

The Quicksilver system is designed to enhance flow and throttle response while emitting an engineered sound that will rise in pitch with revs. This allows for an acceptable yet sporty sound while driving at lower speeds i.e. built up areas or constant engine speeds i.e. long motorway journeys.
The welding techniques employed on this system are exceptionally precise, optimizing internal flow at the X-Pipe which balances the exhaust pulses from both banks to create a smoother tone and greater variation in pitch.

The QS Inconel TITAN system is almost a third of the weight (18 kilos ~ 38.7lbs) of the standard exhaust. This is a remarkable weight saving, particularly as the catalysts cores & shells (weighing 3.5 kilos) comprise such a large proportion of the total weight. Importantly this weight comes off the very rear of the car so has a profound benefit to the balance and all aspects of performance.
These systems are as close to ona F1 system as exists. Wtilising type 625 Inconel in .7mm and .9mm for tube, silencer casing, muffler internals ans thicker Inconel for the bands and flanges. The heat-shields are fabricated from .5mm Titanium. Though Inconel does not carry any inherent weight advantage over stainless steel, the benefit is that it's superios strength allows less (thinner) material to be used.
Plus, inconel's far superior durability to sxtreme heat make it a much better material for motorsport and turbocharged applications - wich is why Inconel (and not Titanium) is used for F1, IndyCars, Nascar, LeMans and just abour all the top formulae.

As many GT3 owners know, the OEM mufflers are prone to cracking, breaking and blowing out, particularly the titanium mufflers on GT3RS cars. Fabspeed Motorsport Engineers design a GT3 primary muffler replacement that not only fixed that issue but also greatly improved on the OEM design in multiple measurable ways. Using our 30+ years of air and water-cooled experience, we took the valve open tubing to 2.75in / 70mm which is the optimal diameter for GT3 engines to have low restriction but maintain high velocity and high RPM GT3 pitch for the signature GT3 CUP car sound. Then, we implemented our signature investment cast 70mm 2.75" X-Pipe for optimal exhaust scavenging and maximum volumetric efficiency. The X merges the two cylinder banks without creating any restriction in exhaust flow. To maintain the factory muffler’s exhaust note and lack of drone, we mimicked Porsche’s 7 chamber design. This makes for a completely drone free muffler, even when running cat-less race headers! Using GT3 headers with cats or Fabspeed headers with HJS German EPA approved catalytic converters along with Fabspeed GT3 Side Muffler Muffler Bypass Pipes for the ultimate emissions compliant lightweight GT3 exhaust. SOUND:
This muffler will have a very similar tone to the OEM muffler, however, it will be a bit louder with PSE turned on. It will also sound a bit smoother and higher pitched thanks to our signature X-pipe.
POWER:
On our 997.1/ 997.2 GT3 and GT3RS test car, paired with our Side Muffler Muffler Bypass Pipes, the Rennsport Muffler picked up an impressive 27 ft/lbs of TQ down low at 3,200 RPM. From 2,900 RPM all the way to 5,700 RPM it picks up =12 horsepower or more, and peak power at the wheels is up from 446 to 454! That’s a gain of over 12 HP at the crank- from simply swapping out the fragile restrictive OEM Porsche 997GT3 to the very latest GT3 RS Titanium OEM factory mufflers. BEST ADVICE- but and install a Fabspeed GT3 center muffler and SAVE you fragile OEM GT3 muffler for Concours shows and restoration. All GT3 OEM mufflers BREAK & EXPLODE when driven long and hard enough.

Direct bolt on replacement center section with dual 3.5 stainless tips (factory offers dual 3"). The system is made of mandrel bent T304 stainless tubing which is TIG welded and features a proprietary megaphone design to improve sound in the upper RPM range.
