Fitting Service:
Benefit from our fitting service in our modern and hightech workshop. A team of qualified, experienced technicians fulfill all your needs with due skill, care and diligence.
NOTE: In the United Kingdom, sports catalytic converters and bypass pipes do not have type approval and are not legally permitted for use on vehicles manufactured after 1st March 2001. They are not MOT compliant and cannot be used on public roads. These components are intended solely for race and track use.
For vehicles manufactured before 1st March 2001, a non-type approved sports catalytic converter may be fitted, provided it offers comparable performance to the original and the vehicle continues to meet the applicable emissions standards for its age. The vehicle must still pass an MOT test.
If you are located outside the UK, please check your local laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Exhaust System Packages for Porsche | Performance, Precision & Sound
A well-designed exhaust system package is essential for maintaining your Porsche’s performance, efficiency, and distinctive exhaust tone. These complete systems replace worn or restrictive exhaust components with precision-engineered, high-flow assemblies that restore or enhance power delivery and sound quality.
At Design911, we offer a comprehensive selection of exhaust system packages for Porsche models — from classic 911s to modern GT-series vehicles. Each package includes key components such as silencers, manifolds, catalytic converters, and pipework, designed for optimal gas flow, reduced back pressure, and improved throttle response.
Manufactured from premium stainless steel, Inconel, or titanium, our exhaust kits are built for durability, corrosion resistance, and superior acoustic performance. Whether you’re restoring a vintage air-cooled model or tuning your track-ready GT3, these exhaust systems deliver a perfect balance of reliability, performance, and sound.
What Do Exhaust System Packages Do?
An exhaust system package channels exhaust gases away from the engine efficiently while controlling noise and emissions. A properly designed system ensures optimal engine breathing — improving power, torque, and overall efficiency.
Core Functions:
- Directs
exhaust gases safely from the engine.
- Reduces
back pressure to maximise power output.
- Controls
emissions via catalytic converters and mufflers.
- Enhances
exhaust tone for an authentic Porsche sound.
- Optimises gas flow for performance and reliability.
An upgraded exhaust system can also provide weight reduction, improved throttle response, and enhanced driving enjoyment.
Why Do Exhaust Systems Fail?
Over time, even the most durable exhaust systems deteriorate due to constant exposure to heat, vibration, and the elements.
Common Causes of Exhaust System Failure Include:
Corrosion
and rust, especially on mild steel systems.
When exhaust components fail, you may notice rattling sounds, loss of performance, strong fumes, or increased fuel consumption — all signs that replacement is needed.
Why Replace or Upgrade Your Exhaust System?
Replacing or upgrading your Porsche’s exhaust system ensures maximum performance, efficiency, and driving enjoyment.
Key Benefits:
- Restores optimal gas flow and back pressure.
- Improves horsepower and torque.
- Enhances sound and throttle response.
- Reduces weight for improved handling.
