Front control arm rear rubber bushing. Price is EACH. 2 req'd per car.
Restore your Porsche’s original handling precision and ride comfort with this control arm bushing set. Manufactured in Europe to OEM standards, these high-quality rubber bushings are designed as a direct replacement for the factory front wishbone bushes. Each kit includes 2 bushings and 2 spacers, enough for one side of the car. Two kits are required per vehicle. Ideal for maintaining stock suspension performance on road cars or classic restorations, this bush set helps reduce unwanted play, improve steering feel, and eliminate suspension noise caused by worn components.

Fits:
Porsche 964 1989-94 Rear Bushing Stock Hardness
Porsche 993 1995-98 Rear Bushing Stock Hardness
Porsche 944 1985-95 944 W/ Alum. Arms Front Bushing Stock Hardness

The control arm bushing is comprised of two halves for each arm. Kit includes two halves for one complete bushing.

Stock-hardness – Restores performance and ride quality to original.

Sport-Hardness – Sport hardness rubber is about 25% firmer than stock. It deflects less under cornering loads and thereby maintains alignment more precisely.

What This Product Does:
  • This bushing sits at the front mount of the control arm, connecting it to the subframe or chassis. It allows the control arm to pivot as the suspension moves vertically, but resists unwanted lateral or rotational movement.
  • Under lateral or braking / acceleration loads, the bushing helps maintain toe, camber, and alignment stability by resisting flex.
  • The sport / hardened version is designed to reduce compliance (i.e. reduce unwanted movement), giving crisper steering feel and better handling under dynamic loads.

Symptoms / Signs Of Wear Or Inadequacy:
  • Vibration or shudder in the steering wheel, especially under load or during cornering
  • A vague or “wandering” front end feel
  • Alignment changes under cornering or braking (toe drift)
  • Uneven or accelerated tire wear
  • Noises (clunks or creaks) from the front suspension under load
  • Reduced steering precision / less sharp handling

Why the Sport / Heavy Duty Version Matters:
  • Reduced Deflection: Because the harder compound flexes less under load, alignment remains more consistent during aggressive driving or cornering.
  • Sharper Steering Feedback: Less “softness” gives more direct, responsive feel between steering input and front-end behavior.
  • Better Handling Under Load: Under heavy loads (cornering, braking, etc.), the harder bushing helps maintain geometry more faithfully.
  • Durability: Upgraded compounds often resist fatigue, heat, and aging better than soft original rubber, especially in sporty or track use.

Split bushing removal tool. 1 req'd per lifetime.

elephantracing

Fits:
Porsche 911 / 912 / 930 1965-89
Porsche 964 / 993 1989-98
Porsche 944 / 968 / 924 1976-95 w/ aluminium control arms

Easily removes the following bushings:
• 911 / 930 / 912 trailing arm bushing
• 964 / 993 front lower control arm rear bushing
• 944 front lower control arm front bushing (aluminium arms)

It used to be a difficult task

This clever tool is a real time saver that makes easy work of removing split bushings. Doing the job with the arms still on the car for 911, 964, and 993 saves time and labor.

Split bushings are actually two separate bushings, each pressed in from opposite sides of the arm. Removing them requires driving them out from the parting line where they meet, in the center of the arm. This has traditionally been a difficult job that requires removing the arm and fumbling with a punch to try and drive out the bushings from the center.

Easy & quick
This tool makes it easy to engage the parting line and drive out the bushing. It is so easy that the job can be performed without removing the arm from the 911, 964, and 993.

Pro Mechanics and DIY'ers alike will appreciate the time saving this tool provides.

Combine with bushing installation tools part #2020904 to complete the job.

About Track Control Arms FRONT

Porsche Front Track Control Arms | Design911 Suspension Components for Precision Steering, Alignment & Stability

Front track control arms are crucial components in your Porsche’s suspension system, connecting the chassis to the front wheel hubs to maintain precise alignment and smooth suspension movement. They manage the geometry of your front wheels under braking, cornering, and acceleration — ensuring stability, traction, and steering accuracy. High-quality control arms help your Porsche deliver the razor-sharp handling and responsiveness it’s celebrated for.

At Design911, we supply a full selection of front track control arms and related hardware, engineered for strength, durability, and precision. Manufactured from reinforced steel or lightweight alloy, each component is designed for perfect fitment and long-lasting performance. Whether you’re performing routine servicing, suspension alignment, or performance tuning, our control arms provide the stability and control needed for confident driving on road or track.

What Do Front Track Control Arms Do?

Front track control arms ensure consistent wheel alignment and steering geometry under varying road conditions and driving forces.

Core Functions:
• Maintain front wheel alignment and suspension geometry.
• Control the vertical and lateral movement of the suspension.
• Provide a pivot point for steering and braking stability.
• Reduce vibration and road harshness.
• Ensure precise steering feedback and front-end balance.

When functioning properly, control arms contribute to your Porsche’s signature agility, providing both comfort and confidence through every corner.

Why Do Front Track Control Arms Fail or Degrade?

Front control arms operate under extreme forces and are exposed to constant motion, road debris, and environmental wear — all of which lead to gradual degradation.

Common Causes of Failure Include:
• Worn or perished bushes reducing alignment accuracy.
• Ball joint wear causing play or knocking noises.
• Corrosion or cracking from fatigue and stress.
• Impact damage from potholes, curbs, or heavy braking.
• Age-related material weakening or mount deterioration.

When control arms wear out, symptoms include poor steering response, vibration, uneven tyre wear, and instability — clear signs that replacement is required for safety and handling precision.

Why Replace or Upgrade Your Porsche Front Track Control Arms?

Replacing worn or damaged control arms restores handling precision, alignment integrity, and ride quality. Upgraded versions with adjustable mounts or performance bushes enhance feedback and control — ideal for spirited or track driving.

Key Benefits:
• Restores accurate front suspension geometry and alignment.
• Improves steering precision, grip, and braking control.
• Eliminates unwanted movement, vibration, and instability.
• Available with rubber or polyurethane performance bushes.
• Fits Porsche 911, Boxster, Cayman, Panamera, Cayenne, and Macan models.
• Perfect for servicing, restorations, or suspension performance upgrades.

Design911’s Porsche front track control arms deliver engineering quality, precision, and reliability — ensuring your Porsche handles exactly as it was designed to.
