KEY FACTS

  • This 964-generation Porsche 911 Speedster is a rare and rewarding modern classic open-top sports car, offered from long-term ownership.
  • It is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.6-litre air-cooled flat-six, which sends its power to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
  • This right-hand drive example was originally a UK-delivered model, which was first registered in August 1993, and has since been imported to Belgium, where it has been with the seller for the past 18 years.
  • This 964-era 911 Speedster is one of only 936 examples produced, and is understood to be one of just 14 UK-delivered models.
  • It benefits from a comprehensive engine rebuild in April 2023 by a marque specialist, including extensive internal component renewal and cylinder head refurbishment.
  • The odometer indicates 19,833 km. However, in April 2010, the original mile-reading speedometer (showing 63,565 miles) was replaced with a used kilometre-reading unit displaying 14,874 km; since then, the car has covered just 4,959 km. This would make the total mileage 66,646 miles (107,272 km).

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

  • The 964-era 911 Speedster was based on the Carrera 2 Cabriolet and featured the classic Speedster styling cues of the extended rear hood cover over a manually folding roof and a lower, more aggressively raked windscreen.
  • This example is finished in the iconic shade of Guards Red with a contrasting black soft-top roof, over a black leather-trimmed interior.
  • It rides on a set of 17-inch ‘Cup’ alloy wheels, framing gloss-black Porsche-branded brake callipers, and fitted with mixed Pirelli P Zero tyres.
  • Equipment includes a Clubsport steering wheel, heater and ventilation controls, an electrically operated rear spoiler, the rare adjustable ‘Turbo’ seats, electric windows, and a Blaupunkt Symphony cassette stereo.
  • The car comes with the original owner's manual and stamped service booklet in a black leather case, the original Blaupunkt owner's manual, a speedometer (in miles per hour), registration documents, and the original Speedster accessory.
  • The car comes with three keys and two alarm fobs.
