Product Information
HD Front Control Arm Bushing Set (Rear Position).

Upgrade your Porsche’s front suspension performance and precision with the HD Front Control Arm Bushing (Rear Position).
This heavy-duty bushing mounts at the rear point of the front lower control arm (wishbone), helping maintain proper suspension geometry and steering alignment.
It features a high-durometer (sport) rubber compound that is around 25% firmer than factory OEM, reducing deflection under load and delivering sharper, more consistent handling.
Sold As A Set Of 2.

What This Product Does:
  • This bushing sits at the front mount of the control arm, connecting it to the subframe or chassis. It allows the control arm to pivot as the suspension moves vertically, but resists unwanted lateral or rotational movement.
  • Under lateral or braking / acceleration loads, the bushing helps maintain toe, camber, and alignment stability by resisting flex.
  • The sport / hardened version is designed to reduce compliance (i.e. reduce unwanted movement), giving crisper steering feel and better handling under dynamic loads.

Symptoms / Signs Of Wear Or Inadequacy:
  • Vibration or shudder in the steering wheel, especially under load or during cornering
  • A vague or “wandering” front end feel
  • Alignment changes under cornering or braking (toe drift)
  • Uneven or accelerated tire wear
  • Noises (clunks or creaks) from the front suspension under load
  • Reduced steering precision / less sharp handling

Why the Sport / Heavy Duty Version Matters:
  • Reduced Deflection: Because the harder compound flexes less under load, alignment remains more consistent during aggressive driving or cornering.
  • Sharper Steering Feedback: Less “softness” gives more direct, responsive feel between steering input and front-end behavior.
  • Better Handling Under Load: Under heavy loads (cornering, braking, etc.), the harder bushing helps maintain geometry more faithfully.
  • Durability: Upgraded compounds often resist fatigue, heat, and aging better than soft original rubber, especially in sporty or track use.
