Springbox reinforcement kit for the 2 front seats of all Porsche 911 and 912 models from 1966 - 1973 with standard seats. Contains 8 high resistance coils, 2 hourse hair panels and correction filling.

The seat base of your Porsche 911 '66-'73 is of the spingbox type. Extensive use and age will cause the coils to loose resistance and break. This reduces the support of the seat and will overstretch your seat covers causing them to tear and crack.

When replacing your front seat covers it is recommended to install our front seat reinforcement kit. It will provide you better ride comfort and increase the life of you new seat covers.

·         The springs are to be positioned 3-5cm inward of each corner of the spring box.

·         Short springs are for the back. Long ones go in the front

• You can simply work them in and attached them to the old coils
• The horsehair panels need to be cut to measure (with a breadknife or scissors)
• You can layer the horsehair to pad up the bolsters if needed and glue layers together
• The fine white foam is used a finishing sheet between the horsehair and the seat covers
