Pair of ready-to-install headrests for all Porsche 356 models from 1950 – 1965 with standard seats, re-manufactured to exact OEM specifications. This a beautifully engineered assembly complete with hardware, trimmed in Porsche classic vinyl or leather as required.

Our headrests are probably the best you can buy for originality and fit. The headrest hardware is an exact replica of the original Porsche design. The cell foam is molded to the exact same shape and density of the original. We can cover the headrests with the original Porsche Classic Skai or Porsche Nappa leather. This guarantees a perfect match with our front seat restoration kit.

Installation requires no specific tools and is comfortably within the ability of the moderately experienced home mechanic. The headrest brackets directly bolt onto the frame plates of all standard seats '50-'66. Please make sure your seats are equipped with headrest plates before ordering.

Springbox reinforcement kit for the 2 front seats of Porsche 356 models from 1959 – 1965 with standard Recaro comfort seats. Contains 8 high resistance coils, 2 hoursehair panels and correction filling.

The seat base of your Porsche 356 is of the spingbox type. Extensive use and age will cause the coils to loose resistance and break. This reduces the support of the seat and will overstretch your seat covers causing them to tear and crack.

When replacing your front seat covers it is recommended to install our front seat reinforcement kit. It will provide you better ride comfort and increase the life of you new seat covers.

·         The springs are to be positioned 3-5cm inward of each corner of the spring box.

·         Short springs are for the back. Long ones go in the front

• You can simply work them in and attached them to the old coils
• The horsehair panels need to be cut to measure (with a breadknife or scissors)
• You can layer the horsehair to pad up the bolsters if needed and glue layers together
• The fine white foam is used a finishing sheet between the horsehair and the seat covers
