•  Applications: Required when the original drive shaft shows wear, CV joint failure (clicking on turns), shaft play, torn boots, vibration under drive, or during rear axle/differential servicing to restore factory-standard drive feel and reliability.

The drive shaft (CV-axle) is an essential component of your vehicle’s drivetrain, especially in rear- or all-wheel-drive vehicles like the Panamera. A failing shaft or CV joint can lead to a range of issues:
• Clicking or popping noise during turning due to worn CV joints
Excessive vibration, especially under acceleration or at speed
• Loose play in the axle, causing imprecise handling or driveline lash
Torn boots leading to grease loss, contamination and joint failure

Replacing it with the correct genuine Porsche part ensures the drive system retains proper torque transfer, smooth operation, correct alignment and long-term durability.

When and why to replace:
Hearing clicking or clunking during sharp turns or acceleration
• Detecting vibration or shudder under load or at speed
Noticing torn boots, leaking grease or visible playful movement in the shaft assembly
During rear differential, half-shaft or bearing service where access is available
On high-mileage vehicles where original components may be fatigued or worn
