The 91162415103 rear heater blower motor is a direct-fit replacement for the engine-compartment heater fan used on classic 911/930 models. It drives warm air from the heat exchangers forward to the cabin, restoring strong, reliable heating performance.

This later-style unit supersedes the earlier 911 624 151 02 design and is supplied complete with the correct housing/impeller layout for straightforward installation.
Mounted in the engine bay on the left side, it draws air through the heat exchangers and feeds the heater ducts; without a healthy motor, cabin heat output and demist performance drop sharply.
Age and heat can seize bearings, burn brushes, or crack housings—leading to weak/no airflow, noisy operation, or blown fuses. Replace during HVAC refresh or whenever the fan is noisy/inoperative to restore safe demisting and cabin heat.
