Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche
Where Rennline is listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, side/position, and connector type where relevant.
- Typical reasons to choose Rennline parts include improving pedal feel and control, tidying cabin storage and organisation, adding lighter or stronger components, and achieving a clean motorsport-inspired finish for upgrades and restomods.
- Common issues when fitting accessories include rattles, squeaks, scuffed finishes, and poor alignment, often caused by incorrect hardware, missing threadlock, or mixing parts between different Porsche generations.
- Watch for symptoms after installation such as new noises, vibration, or panels that don’t sit correctly, and re-check torque settings and alignment if anything feels or sounds wrong.
- Keep your original Porsche parts where possible so most Rennline upgrades can be reversed later if you want to return the car to standard.
- Reduce cabin noise or vibration changes by understanding that more motorsport-focused components can transmit more sound and feel through the body shell.
- Test-fit parts before final assembly, using the correct fixings and torque values, to avoid rattles, misalignment, or damage to surrounding trim.
Browse by Category
If you already know the area you are working on, start with the category and then filter by Porsche model. Where real-world symptoms and typical reasons to replace are provided, use them to keep the wording grounded.
Suspension & Axle — Suspension and axle components are changed to restore safe handling, ride comfort, and braking stability on your Porsche, or to achieve a different balance between comfort and control where upgrades are available.
Shock Absorber Parts FRONT — Front shock absorber parts such as mounts, bearings, bump stops, and hardware are replaced to support new dampers, reduce knocks and creaks, and keep the front suspension of your Porsche working smoothly and quietly.
Suspension Upgrades — Suspension upgrades let you fine-tune how your Porsche rides and handles, reducing body roll and sharpening response when matched correctly to the car, alignment, and intended use.
Control Arms Front — Front control arms are typically renewed to cure knocking, vibration, and uneven tyre wear, and to bring back precise steering and braking stability on your Porsche.
Top mounts Front — Front top mounts are replaced when there are knocks over bumps, creaks when steering, or vague steering feel, helping maintain correct geometry and smoother suspension movement.

Porsche 911/912/930 1969-89
If you have a '69-'89 911/912/930 chances are the lower dashboard is looking pretty rough. Typically, the foam padding is peeling away at the corners, the Radio/HVAC openings are sagging, the plastic bits and pieces are fading, the glovebox door is misaligned, and the list goes on. We've seen countless restorations and resto-mods that are absolutely flawless until you sit in the car and are faced with that gloomy factory dash. This is an area that really bothered us in our own restorations, so we finally developed a solution… The Rennline Dash Backdate Kit.
The Rennline Dash Backdate kit is a fascia that installs in place of all that OEM ugliness. It does away with the original foam padding, the glovebox door, the seatbelt warning light, and all the other non-necessities. In their place is a beautiful fascia that incorporates a polished extrusion similar to that of the early 911's but in one full length rather than the broken-up sections. Also reminiscent of the early 911's are the extrusion inserts which are available in a number of different options from carbon fiber or basketweave to walnut or stainless steel. This may very well be the final piece of your restoration/resto-mod puzzle. *Note – You switch locations may differ from photos. Headlight Knob included; other knobs available separately.
This kit includes
· Dash Overlay
· Polished Extrusion and Extrusion End Pieces
· Extrusions Insert (choose your option)
· Billet HVAC Control Panel and Polished Trim
· Billet Ignition Switch Bezel
· Billet Headlight Knob with Backdate Bezel
· Installation Hardware
Installation is relatively straight forward and involves the following steps:
Removing your glovebox and all accessories from the dashboard.
The Rennline Dash Backdate kit comes with provisions for the early HVAC Control, ignition switch, and headlight switch. If you would like to retain other switches, then you would need to drill the necessary holes into the dash overlay.
If you would like installation a radio, there is a perforated punch out in the extrusion. You would just need to cut the hole in the extrusion insert
Install the fascia over the existing dash frame using the supplied self-drilling hardware
Install the extrusion to the fascia using the supplied flat head sheet metal screws
Slide inserts into place
Install extrusions end caps

In this day and age, everyone has a cell phone; our lives have come to revolve around them. The problem is that there is no great place in our cars to store them. The market is full of flimsy universal mounts, vent mounts, and mounts that clip or stick to areas of your interior which can and will cause damage. Rennline has solved this problem with our ExactFit Magnetic Phone Mounts. These mounts are tailored to your specific model and do not attach to any part of your interior that will cause harm. Most of our mounts are bolt-in units that can be easily installed in minutes. All critical components are manufactured from metal, so they will not crack or break like most plastic units available.

Does your 74-89 911/912/930 have the common slop, wiggle and/or rattle in the steering wheel? This is a common issue with these cars and is the result of a worn-out OE 91134702901 bearing liner. Rennline's new Steering Column Support Bushing installs in about 15 minutes and leaves you with a smooth/quite steering column. This is a big improvement over the factory replacement sleeve that takes hours to replace and is sure to fail again down the road.

One of Porsche's biggest design flaws on the water cooled cars is the bumper air intakes. With the current design, the radiators are completely exposed and become magnets for road debris, leaves, and rocks. The fins on the radiator will quickly become damaged or plugged translating into big dollar repairs. The only way to stop the inevitable is to install a Rennline Radiator Protection Grill Kit.
Why Rennline kits are the best:
• Rennline developed the "Original" Radiator protection system with years of proven results
Your car's nose already looks perfect, our kits install behind the louvers to retain a desired factory look
• No risk of paint damage due to misalignment or loose components like front mounted kits
• Rigid mount system that executes a true "protection system" not just aesthetic
• Unique screw and clip (some vehicle's don't require the clips, and simply install with screws) system that eliminates the need for adhesive, zip ties or other unreliable fastening technics.
• Powder coated aluminum resulting in the ultimate oxidation protection
• Millions of track miles and winning races have proven our mesh size will not affect airflow or cooling
• Every grill is pre-molded for your specific model resulting in a perfect fit every time
• Easy install, most kits take a total of an hour or less to install with basic hand tools. If removing your bumper cover seems intimidating, don't worry, average bumper removal time without a car lift is 10-15 mins
• Manufactured in the USA by Rennline, if you have a question we're here to help
* Cars with adaptive cruise control may require minor trimming with snips or scissors

The Rennline HVAC control panel is CNC milled from a billet aluminum block and anodized for a classic and elegant dash upgrade. Whether you're trying to clean up the dash on your early 911, or backdating the dash on your G-body car, these HVAC controls are sure to do the job. Featuring simplified markings and updated micro LED indicators, the unit pairs very well with our I12 Billet HVAC Knobs (not included but available separately). OEM plastic units are prone to scratching and fading, while these units are proven to stand the test of time. Installs easily to factory control mechanism.
Note: If installing in a 74-89 car, the dash must be backdated as these controls are smaller than the later controls.
