The purpose of a brake pad wear sensor is to monitor pad thickness. When the pad material wears to a certain point, the sensor closes a circuit or sends a signal to the vehicle's brake control module, alerting the driver to replace the pads. Engine oil separator also known as a crankcase vent valve or AOS. It functions as part of the engine’s positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system, managing and separating blow-by gases and oil vapour to help maintain engine performance and emissions compliance.
