About OE Match

OE Match for Porsche

OE Match is a brand that provides a wide range of Porsche components, from gaskets to suspension hardware, engine parts, and interior trim. Over 6,700 individual part numbers, and over 11,800 OE cross-references catalogued, and are constantly developing new lines.OE Match has over 100 new products currently in the engineering phase, which will be quality-controlled and added to their catalog. The mission is to keep all Porsche vehicles on the road by offering a vast selection of parts that can address various problems across different Porsche generations

A Quick Look at OE Match

OE Match information on this page is based on details supplied by the manufacturer or distributor, plus any OE references provided with the parts.

Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche

Where OE Match is listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, side/position, and connector type where relevant.

  • Often chosen when owners want OE-equivalent quality with sensible running costs, especially for routine service and wear items.
  • Typical reasons to replace include restoring reliability, addressing age-related wear, or refreshing multiple components during larger repair work.
  • Common defects from incorrect application include noise, premature wear, leaks, or fitment quirks if the wrong variant is selected or fitted with old seals/hardware.
  • Watch for symptoms such as unusual noises, early wear, or repeat failures after recent work, which can indicate mismatched parts or supporting items left worn.
  • Always cross-check OEM part numbers, read model-year notes, and verify compatibility before ordering.
  • For safety-critical components, confirm specification and fitment carefully and have installation checked by a competent technician.

Browse by Category

If you already know the area you are working on, start with the category and then filter by Porsche model. Where real-world symptoms and typical reasons to replace are provided, use them to keep the wording grounded.

Brakes — Brake components are renewed to restore stopping performance, address wear or upgrade a Porsche for fast road or track use. Common symptoms include vibration under braking, longer stopping distances, squealing, pulling to one side, warning lights and visible wear to discs and pads.

Brake Pad Wear Sensors — Brake pad wear sensors are replaced when pads are renewed or when warning lights indicate a broken or worn sensor. Symptoms include brake wear warnings even with new pads, damaged sensor cables, or broken clips around the caliper area.

Engine Electrical — Engine electrical parts are changed when there are starting, charging, ignition, or sensor-related faults that affect drivability and reliability, such as intermittent no-start, misfires, rough idle, poor charging, warning lights or heat-soak failures.

Service Parts — Service parts are replaced as routine maintenance to keep the engine and systems reliable, efficient, and protected, often resolving hard starting, rough idle, poor fuel economy and warning lights caused by clogged filters or worn ignition components.

Service Kits — Service kits bundle key service components to simplify maintenance and set the car back to a known baseline, especially useful when catching up on overdue servicing or dealing with general sluggish running, inconsistent idle and reduced performance.

  • For brake parts, confirm whether items are OE-equivalent replacements or performance upgrades and check if new fitting kits and sensors are required.
  • On service items and kits, match the kit to your exact Porsche model, engine and year, and review what is included so you can add any extra “while you are there” parts.

Damper swivel pin.
damper swivel pin (or retaining pin) designed for mounting gas struts or dampers on the front bonnet or engine lid of the Porsche 911. secures the ball-joint or swivel bracket of the strut/damper in place, allowing controlled movement while ensuring the strut remains fastened under load. This is exact reproduction.
Sold as each.

Fits:
Porsche 911 1965 - 1976

Diagram ref no 11

This pin is inserted through the mounting bracket of the gas strut or damper and into the mounting point on the lid or hinge assembly. A circlip or cotter pin keeps it in place, allowing the strut to pivot correctly while ensuring secure retention. Without a solid pin, the strut could become loose or detached, compromising lid safety and function.

Over time, the pin can become corroded, bent, worn, or lost due to repeated strut motion, environmental exposure (moisture, road spray), and age. A compromised pin may lead to:
•  The gas strut mounting becoming loose or detached
•  Lid or bonnet not staying open reliably or dropping unexpectedly
•  Increased wear on the strut bracket or hinge due to improper pivoting

Replace when:
The original pin appears rusted, bent, or its retaining clip is missing
You’re replacing or servicing the gas strut/damper on the bonnet or engine lid
You’re restoring the bodywork or hinge/strut assembly and want correct, safe hardware

Fuel pump. Porsche 911 2.2L/ 2.4L E/S

Fits:
  • Porsche 911 1969-1973 2.2L / 2.4L / 2.7L RS LWB (F)
Cars with Mechanical Fuel Injection (MFI)

Three-Port Original vs Two-Port Upgraded Design
Original Fuel Pump (3 Connections)

  • Flow in – 10mm Flow to engine-driven MFI pump
  • 8mm Return from overpressure valve
  • 8mm back to tank
New Design (Supplied Pump with 2 Connections)
  • Flow in – 10mm
  • Flow out – 8mm
  • Overpressure valve is built into the pump, eliminating the need for a third return port. - A blanking plug is provided to seal the unused return pipe on the vehicle.

Benefits of the Updated Design

  • Simplified installation
  • Fewer potential leak points
  • Internalised pressure regulation
  • Cleaner engine bay layout
  • Modern reliability for classic Porsche fuel systems

The Fuel Pump is designed specifically for classic Porsche 2.2-litre and 2.4-litre Mechanical Fuel Injection (MFI) engines, ensuring reliable, high-pressure fuel delivery essential for Bosch MFI systems. MFI engines rely on precise fuel volume and pressure to maintain accurate metering, throttle response and performance. This upgraded pump meets the demands of the MFI fuel circuit while simplifying the original design for improved reliability and ease of installation.

Engineered to provide consistent fuel pressure, stable flow and long-term durability, this pump is an essential replacement for ageing or failing fuel system components on classic MFI-equipped 911 models.

What This Fuel Pump Does

The fuel pump is responsible for:

  • Delivering high-pressure fuel from the tank to the engine-driven MFI pump
  • Maintaining stable fuel pressure required for accurate MFI metering
  • Ensuring consistent flow under varying throttle loads
  • Reducing fuel system complexity with a built-in overpressure valve
  • Supporting smooth idle, crisp throttle response and clean acceleration

It is an essential component in maintaining proper MFI function and engine performance.

Why Original MFI Fuel Pumps Fail

Mechanical fuel injection systems operate under high pressure and constant fuel circulation. As pumps age, they become prone to:

  • Internal wear reducing pressure and flow
  • Blocked valves or degraded seals causing erratic fuel delivery
  • Corrosion inside the pump housing affecting reliability
  • Electrical motor wear leading to inconsistent operation
  • Overpressure valve problems, especially on original three-port designs
  • Fuel contamination or varnish buildup from ageing petrol

Symptoms include rough idle, poor throttle response, hesitation, loss of power, hard starting or surging under load.

Why Replace with This Modernised Pump

Upgrading to this precision-engineered pump ensures consistent, reliable operation:

  • Stable high-pressure output for MFI accuracy
  • Improved reliability and reduced failure points
  • Simplified plumbing with built-in overpressure management
  • Modern materials for longer service life
  • Direct compatibility with Porsche 2.2L / 2.4L MFI systems
  • Smoother engine operation and improved drivability
  • Ensures proper performance on restored or rebuilt engines

This pump is a direct, practical and reliable solution for keeping classic MFI Porsches running as intended.
