Transmission Oil Filter – Part ref No. 986 307 403 00
This precision-engineered transmission oil filter is designed to keep your Porsche’s gearbox operating smoothly. It traps harmful contaminants before they can enter the transmission’s valve body and fluid passages, protecting sensitive components from wear and damage. By maintaining clean transmission fluid, it helps prevent shifting problems such as delayed engagement, harsh gear changes, and overall performance decline.

This boot encases the exposed portions of the steering rack, forming a protective barrier that keeps out dirt, dust, water, and road grime. By sealing the rack’s moving parts from external contaminants, it helps prevent premature wear, rust, and corrosion. Additionally, it helps retain the lubricating grease inside the rack assembly, ensuring smooth steering operation and reducing the risk of mechanical failure.
The steering rack boot is a low-cost part that plays a critical protective role. Over time, the original boot can crack, tear, or stiffen due to age, heat, and exposure to road conditions. Once compromised, contaminants like water, dirt, and salt can enter the rack housing, accelerating corrosion, wearing internal gears and bearings, and potentially causing rack failure or steering problems. Replacing boot ensures the rack remains protected, lubricated, and functions smoothly - helping avoid costly steering repairs or unsafe handling issues.
Consider replacing the boot if any of the following occur:
• The rubber bellows shows visible cracks, tears, splits or hardening.
• You notice grease leaking around the rack area - a sign the boot may have ruptured.
• There is dirt, water or debris accumulation near the rack, or signs of corrosion on components.
• Steering feels stiff, rough, or noisy, especially when turning - potentially indicating contamination or inadequate lubrication.
• You are performing steering or suspension maintenance, or restoring the car, and want to ensure long-term reliability.

This high-efficiency aluminium water-radiator is designed for Porsche 924S and Porsche 944 (manual gearbox) models. It reproduces Porsche’s factory specification—featuring correct core size, inlet/outlet positions, mounting bracket fitment and cooling performance. This radiator ensures proper engine cooling, consistent operating temperatures and long-term reliability.
Fits:
Porsche 924S (2.5L) 1986 - 1988 Manual gearbox
Porsche 944 (2.5L / 2.7L) 1982 - 1989 Manual gearbox
Diagram Ref No 1.
• Position on Vehicle: Front engine bay, part of the cooling system; mounted at the front of the engine to exchange engine coolant heat with ambient air.
• Applications: Ideal replacement when the original radiator is corroded, leaking, cracked, clogged, or when upgrading cooling performance for spirited driving, restoration or reliability-focused maintenance.
A properly functioning radiator is vital for managing engine heat, maintaining coolant flow and preventing overheating. A degraded radiator can cause elevated temperatures, coolant loss, reduced performance and potential engine damage. Replacing radiator restores correct cooling capacity, protects your engine and supports long-term performance.
When and why to replace:
• Coolant leaks visible around the radiator or mounting points
• Engine temperature running higher than normal or cooling system unable to maintain stable temp
• Radiator shows corrosion, internal blockage, bent fins or damage
• Upgrading to maintain optimum cooling performance for high-load driving or restoration
• Preventative maintenance on higher-mileage or track-used vehicles

Diagram Ref No. 8, 9 and 10
• Built to match the original equipment in form, fit and function, this version replicates the original pan’s dimensions, mount points, sealing flange and filter interface.
• Position on Vehicle: Mounted beneath the front of the engine/transmission assembly, forming the lower reservoir of the PDK transmission - replaces the original sump pan and integrated filter housing.
• OEM number: 9P1321359 (sometimes written 9P1-321-359), Supersedes: 9G132102500, 9G132102501, 9G132112500.
• Applications: Ideal when original transmission sump/pan is cracked, leaking, or damaged; when filter cannot be serviced separately; or when performing a full transmission service in a vehicle with the PDK gearbox.
The transmission oil pan plays a vital role in PDK gearbox health: it contains the fluid reservoir, houses the filtration screen (in many cases cannot be serviced separately) and helps maintain correct fluid volume and cleanliness. If this pan is cracked, leaking, has a damaged filter, or if internal sludging occurs, you can experience poor shifting, fluid foaming, overheating or even internal gearbox damage. Replacing it with a fresh unit restores correct fluid containment, filter function and protects your transmission investment.
When and why to replace:
• Observable fluid leak or seepage from the transmission sump/pan flange.
• Transmission service interval reached where OEM recommendation is to replace pan and internal filter (especially in PDK units)
• After front-end impact or corrosion has damaged pan or flange.
• During major transmission or clutch overhaul when access is already available.
• Vehicle showing rough or inconsistent shifting, temperature rise, or internal transmission warnings.
