OE Match for Porsche
OE Match is a brand that provides a wide range of Porsche components, from gaskets to suspension hardware, engine parts, and interior trim. Over 6,700 individual part numbers, and over 11,800 OE cross-references catalogued, and are constantly developing new lines.OE Match has over 100 new products currently in the engineering phase, which will be quality-controlled and added to their catalog. The mission is to keep all Porsche vehicles on the road by offering a vast selection of parts that can address various problems across different Porsche generations.
A Quick Look at OE Match
OE Match information on this page is based on details supplied by the manufacturer or distributor, plus any OE references provided with the parts.
Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche
Where OE Match is listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, side/position, and connector type where relevant.
- Often chosen when owners want OE-equivalent quality with sensible running costs, especially for routine service and wear items.
- Typical reasons to replace include restoring reliability, addressing age-related wear, or refreshing multiple components during larger repair work.
- Common defects from incorrect application include noise, premature wear, leaks, or fitment quirks if the wrong variant is selected or fitted with old seals/hardware.
- Watch for symptoms such as unusual noises, early wear, or repeat failures after recent work, which can indicate mismatched parts or supporting items left worn.
- Always cross-check OEM part numbers, read model-year notes, and verify compatibility before ordering.
- For safety-critical components, confirm specification and fitment carefully and have installation checked by a competent technician.
Browse by Category
If you already know the area you are working on, start with the category and then filter by Porsche model. Where real-world symptoms and typical reasons to replace are provided, use them to keep the wording grounded.
Brakes — Brake components are renewed to restore stopping performance, address wear or upgrade a Porsche for fast road or track use. Common symptoms include vibration under braking, longer stopping distances, squealing, pulling to one side, warning lights and visible wear to discs and pads.
Brake Pad Wear Sensors — Brake pad wear sensors are replaced when pads are renewed or when warning lights indicate a broken or worn sensor. Symptoms include brake wear warnings even with new pads, damaged sensor cables, or broken clips around the caliper area.
Engine Electrical — Engine electrical parts are changed when there are starting, charging, ignition, or sensor-related faults that affect drivability and reliability, such as intermittent no-start, misfires, rough idle, poor charging, warning lights or heat-soak failures.
Service Parts — Service parts are replaced as routine maintenance to keep the engine and systems reliable, efficient, and protected, often resolving hard starting, rough idle, poor fuel economy and warning lights caused by clogged filters or worn ignition components.
Service Kits — Service kits bundle key service components to simplify maintenance and set the car back to a known baseline, especially useful when catching up on overdue servicing or dealing with general sluggish running, inconsistent idle and reduced performance.
- For brake parts, confirm whether items are OE-equivalent replacements or performance upgrades and check if new fitting kits and sensors are required.
- On service items and kits, match the kit to your exact Porsche model, engine and year, and review what is included so you can add any extra “while you are there” parts.

Extended hubs are where the hub on the back of the steering wheel is deeper than the standard item. This brings the steering wheel rim closer to the driver.
If you're 1.85m (6 foot) tall or more, you probably know the problem of sitting, shifting and steering properly in the 911 or 914. The original steering wheel in the 911 to 1973 and in the 914 is very large, has a very thin rim and is far away from the driver.
For drivers who want to sit, shift and steer sensibly in their 911 or 914, we have therefore produced a new steering wheel that meets all the requirements of originality, driving comfort and sportiness.
Our steering wheels are covered in the finest leather and thicker padding just like the Carrera RS.

This battery strap is an OE Match replacement fastening strap designed to secure the battery in place within the engine bay or battery tray of Porsche 912 models. Manufactured to match the original Porsche part in fit and function, it ensures the battery remains firmly secured during daily driving and dynamic road conditions.
Fits:
Porsche 912 1965 - 1969
Diagram ref no 6
The battery strap holds the battery securely in the battery tray or mounting bracket. It prevents lateral and vertical movement, protecting the battery, electrical connections, and surrounding components from stress, vibration, and potential damage.
Function:
• Secures the battery in place under dynamic driving conditions
• Reduces vibration and prevents battery movement
• Helps maintain solid electrical connections
• Design for direct fit and correct mounting
• Durable materials resist corrosion and aging
A battery that is not properly secured can shift or vibrate excessively, which may lead to loose electrical connections, harness damage, acid leakage, or accelerated wear on the battery and its mounting components. Replacing a weak or aged strap with an OE Match battery strap restores secure retention and helps maintain reliable battery performance and electrical system integrity.
When to replace:
• Strap shows visible cracks, fraying, or stretching
• Battery movement observed during driving
• Strap hardware is corroded or missing
• During battery replacement or service
• As part of an engine bay refresh or restoration

Left Hand Drive (LHD) only
As fitted to the 911 SC RS by the Porsche factory, a balance beam brake system works by allowing precise distribution of the braking forces between the front and rear axles by adjusting the brake beam. This allows the maximum braking performance for the vehicle.
If using upgraded (from standard) brake calipers with different piston sizes, different pads or larger brake discs the braking force to the respective axles can be altered so a balance beam brake system should be used. Brake calipers with increased piston sizes can also lead to a "soft" brake pedal and the balance beam brake system prevents this.
The balance beam systems has two brake master cylinders mounted in parallel on a bracket that allows precise adjustment between the front and rear axles.

Replacement rubber seal for the small vent (quarter-light) windows or fixed vent-glass on classic Porsche 911/912/964 models. It is moulded to match the original seal’s profile, length ensuring proper fitment in the door-frame groove and restoring the original sealing integrity.
Fits
Porsche 911 1964 - 1973 for the vent windows (both sides)
Porsche 911 / T 1974 - 1989 for the outside of the door (both sides)
Porsche 964 1989 - 1994 (both sides)
Diagram ref no. 11
This window seal creates a tight, weather-proof barrier around the vent or quarter-light glass, preventing water, dust, and wind from entering the cabin. It reduces wind-noise and drafts for improved comfort, while maintaining correct glass seating and alignment for a clean, factory-original appearance. The seal also cushions the glass, protecting both the door frame and the glass edge from vibration and wear over time.
Seals degrade over time - rubber can harden, shrink, or crack due to age, UV exposure, and repeated flexing. When the seal fails:
• Water can leak into the cabin, causing wet carpets or interior corrosion.
• Dust, wind-noise, and drafts may enter the cabin, creating discomfort.
• Glass alignment may become poor, leading to gaps or rattles.
• Corrosion risk increases as moisture collects behind the door trim.
Replacing with a fresh seal restores proper weather-proofing, cabin comfort, and preserves body integrity, especially important on classic 911s used in everyday or show car condition.
You should replace this seal if the original rubber has become brittle, cracked, deformed, or is missing altogether. A new seal is also recommended if you notice water leaks, dust entering through the vent window area, or increased wind-noise or rattling at speed. If the vent glass no longer sits evenly or you are carrying out a restoration or refreshing the door trim and glass assembly, installing a fresh seal will help ensure proper fit and weather protection.
