The fan/alternator housing is a critical component: it locates the alternator, supports the cooling fan and defines the airflow path through the air-cooled engine. In motorsport or restored engines it is exposed to extreme heat, vibration and airflow loads. Over time the original housing may become warped, cracked, or suffer corrosion — which can lead to belt misalignment, fan rub, reduced cooling efficiency or even engine damage.

Replace this housing when:
