Balance shaft delete kit.

To help remove all the balance shaft belt and ancillary products on 944/968 which is only way to make the engine run smoother (After you’ve removed that stuff these bungs to plug up the holes on the engine, so it does leak from where the shafts used to be).

So, engine will still run without all that balance shaft belt and ancillary, maybe a bit rougher but will save a bit of engine power not having to drive all that stuff and engine weight. (Crankshaft/Camshaft timing is on a separate timing belt on 944/968)

With track racing comes the needs for improved braking over what the stock 4piston 330mm brakes can handle. Brake engineering at the simplest is about how you can have clamping force over a large surface area and dissipate the heat to keep the brakes from fading. What Designtek has engineered is a Plus 1 Bracket Kit which allows you to take the factory 4piston 330mm brakes and upgrade to the 350mm OEM rotors that are found on the Porsche 997 Turbo.

This bracket kit is essentially a spacer that goes between your caliper and the wheel carrier to allow your caliper to fit over the larger rotors. The larger rotors will give you increased surface area to provide you better braking and longer pad life. Our brackets are CNC machined 6061 aluminum to keep the weight down. Since this is an important safety component, we have had the brackets hard anodized. The kit includes longer bolts needed to install as well as new washers.

Each Kit is sold as a pair of fronts or pair of rears. These kits fit all 2001-2005 Porsche 996 Turbo or C4S with standard non ceramic brakes.

Like most European cars, the shifting is very sloppy and needs to be stiffen up. We have designed a lower short shift linkage that fits with the factory or aftermarket shifters. This linkage is 1 solid unit for rigidity using a plastic material insert which gives the shifter a stiff and accurate shift. The shift linkage fits over the stock cable housing giving you ability to adjust its tension for a perfect driving experience. The Agency Power shift linkage is then tighten down with an easy access stainless steel locking bolt.
