Porsche 911 1965-71
Specialty pipe interchanges with 3A and connects 65-71 oil tank (26mm fitting) to thermostat. Provides maximum clearance for fitting wide tires. Unlike the factory line that passes between the tire and the inner wheel well, this line arches above the tire to give superior tire clearance. The critical area between tank and tire is a purpose-formed hard line for maximum clearance. Cars 65-71 are highly recommended to use this line for improved tire clearance.

1969-1989 Late Bilstein Struts Only With Green Seal Holders
Replace Your Worn Out Wiper Seals
Lowering your car reduces the travel range of the shocks/struts. Shocks with limited range of travel have a tendency to bottom out more often while driven hard or under poor road conditions. This translates to ride harshness and eventual damage to shocks/struts and shock mounts.
These wiper seals shorten struts by 3/4 inch and add much needed travel. Have us install the shortening wipers along with other strut modification services. Shock body shortening services are also available.
Note: Only for later style Bilstein struts with green seal holders, as pictured above. Earlier style struts with zinc coated 5/8″ holders require further strut modifications. Please call for more information.

These shock mounts use high strength hardened steel spherical bearings and are direct replacements for the factory mounts. The Teflon lined spherical bearings used in our kit are maintenance-free and require no supplemental lubrication. Included seals prevent contamination from water or grime, thus extending bearing life.
Porsche used spherical bearings on the 997 GT3 and Cup Cars. We went one step further and added larger bearings and weather-seals to ensure longevity.
Fully Weather Sealed
We've designed in weather seals to keep dirt out and extend product life. This is the only shock mount suitable for street or extended track use. Dirt and water contaminate ordinary products and accelerate wear.
Improved Shock / Coilover Performance
The spherical bearings pivot freely and eliminate the deflection that is inherent with the factory rubber bushings. This is important because:
The factory rubber acts as a spring in series with the shock. This rubber spring-action is completely un-damped and reduces the shocks ability to control the tire contact patch. The spherical bearing allows the damper to do its job and control the contact patch.
These will work with stock springs and coilovers.

Sphericals™ performance bearings deliver a new level of handling and ride quality. This is the only performance bushing replacement that delivers ball-type spherical bearing action with stock front control arms.
The secret is in the ball-shaped bearing that allows continuous self-alignment, preventing binding and allowing the suspension to work and move freely. Springs and dampers do their job of controlling the suspension without interference from excessive friction or binding from the bushings.
spherical-bearing-cad-animation-001
Self-aligning spherical ball action – cutaway view
Sphericals Eliminate Binding
With ordinary performance bushings, binding happens when the axis of the front and rear mounts are not collinear. Their hard-compound and minimal compliance cause even minor misalignment of the mounts to pinch and bind, preventing free movement of the control arm. Binding can happen in both static (car is stationary) and dynamic (chassis is flexing) conditions. Sphericals eliminate binding
Dynamic Binding
Dynamic binding is due to chassis flex. This happens anytime the car is cornering, braking, accelerating, or going over bumps. Control arm mounts move with the chassis flex, deviating from their static alignment to cause binding, pinching and resisting free movement of the suspension. The chassis flexes when you most need free suspension movement; to absorb bumps, and during hard cornering when you need grip for performance.

Features & Quality
Our coilover-only spring plate system has the added features and thoughtful engineering you expect from Elephant Racing.
Rubber Seals
Rubber seals keep water and contaminate out of the oversized precision rod ends. Seals are critical to extend rod end life for both racers and street cars. Racers have the occasional "agricultural excursion", covering the suspension with grit and dirt that accelerates wear of unsealed rod ends. Street cars have occasional exposure to water when washing or in rain. Rubber seals are key to long life.
Build Quality
Skillful TIG welding and machined radius on the plate. Hard anodize burgundy aluminum parts are tough, attractive and look good on most any color car. Top quality materials throughout.
Hardened alloy steel blades and aircraft grade aluminum to handle even high HP turbos.
Precision, Oversize rod end – For long trouble-free performance.
Ease of adjustment
Drilled hole positively defines plate length ensuring proper thread engagement at double adjuster and rod end, preventing accidental over-extension possible with double-slotted designs.
Two Height Settings
Choose stock height or 1 inch raise for anti-squat geometry (requires matching raise of trailing ar

Bump Geometry Correction
Lowered cars with non-RS wheel carriers suffer from bump steer and will benefit from bump geometry correction.
Bump steer is a change in toe due to vertical movement of the wheel, such as when driving over a bump. The toe change causes the car to turn, and the driver needs to constantly correct for this to maintain a steady trajectory. This makes the car a handful to drive, especially over bumpy road surfaces.
Bump correction is achieved by moving the tie rod end pivot about 10mm closer to the steering knuckle as compared to the stock tie rod end. This changes the angle of the tie rod to produce the bump geometry correction.
No Need To Convert Wheel Carriers
This Bump Steer Correcting Tie Rod kit provides bump geometry correction with the standard C2/C4 wheel carriers. It is not necessary to convert the wheel carriers to RS type to correct for bump steer when using our kit.
• Corrects for bump steer
• Eliminates rubber inner-joint
• Enhanced driving precision
• Easier and more cost effective than RS wheel carrier conversion
These Elephant Racing bump steer tie rods also eliminate the compliant rubber inner-joint found in the factory 964 tie rods with a spherical bearing providing a more direct and responsive steering feel. Thus, proper suspension geometry is restored, driver corrections are minimized, and vehicle trajectory is stabilized making driving control easier while reducing driver fatigue.
Out Performs All Other Tie Rods
Even on cars fresh from the Porsche factory assembly lines our anti-bump steer kit will reduce bump steer through the full range of motion.
