All 911 drivers are sensitive to the rear weight bias and know that any impovement tin this area will hace multiple benefits. The QS system removes 13.2 kilos from the very rear of the car.
The QS system is constructed using our finest 304 Stainless Steel for maximum durability and is finished by machine polishing to compliment this already beautiful vehicle.
The design has also been meticulously developed to benefit and improve the performance, weight, look and sound to enhance the original exhaust.
While adhering to emission regulations QS have designed this echaust to allow the driver to unleash the full potential of pitch and volume realtive to throttle position. Also enabling a respectively civilised grumble when needed in built up residential areas.

The Quicksilver system is designed to enhance flow and throttle response while emitting an engineered sound that will rise in pitch with revs. This allows for an acceptable yet sporty sound while driving at lower speeds i.e. built up areas or constant engine speeds i.e. long motorway journeys.
The welding techniques employed on this system are exceptionally precise, optimizing internal flow at the X-Pipe which balances the exhaust pulses from both banks to create a smoother tone and greater variation in pitch.
The bracket conguration also adds stability and strength to the systems design which will minimise vibration for long term durability.

The QS Inconel TITAN system is almost a third of the weight (18 kilos ~ 38.7lbs) of the standard exhaust. This is a remarkable weight saving, particularly as the catalysts cores & shells (weighing 3.5 kilos) comprise such a large proportion of the total weight. Importantly this weight comes off the very rear of the car so has a profound benefit to the balance and all aspects of performance.
These systems are as close to ona F1 system as exists. Wtilising type 625 Inconel in .7mm and .9mm for tube, silencer casing, muffler internals ans thicker Inconel for the bands and flanges. The heat-shields are fabricated from .5mm Titanium. Though Inconel does not carry any inherent weight advantage over stainless steel, the benefit is that it's superios strength allows less (thinner) material to be used.
Plus, inconel's far superior durability to sxtreme heat make it a much better material for motorsport and turbocharged applications - wich is why Inconel (and not Titanium) is used for F1, IndyCars, Nascar, LeMans and just abour all the top formulae.

The DesignTek Sport Center Section system is a direct bolt on replacement center section which reduces weight, improves sound and offers a mild increase in performance. Porsche has done a wonderful job with the design and manufacture of the factory system with virtually no improvement to be made by installing a complete (mufflers, headers and cats) aftermarket system.
Direct bolt on replacement center section with dual 3.5 stainless tips (factory offers dual 3"). The system is made of mandrel bent T304 stainless tubing which is TIG welded and features a proprietary megaphone design to improve sound in the upper RPM range. The system saves over 14 lbs of weight over the stock ( stock gt3) and (5 lbs over GT3RS with Ti muffler), power is up 3-5 hp on average and now the sound is finally worthy of this magnificent engine.
